Our Commitment

NUR is built with privacy as a core principle. We collect only what is necessary to make the app work. Your personal data — memories, health context, location — is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties beyond the AI providers that power NUR's responses.

What NUR Collects

AI Processing

When you chat with NUR, your messages and relevant personal context (health summary, calendar events, memories) are sent to Claude (Anthropic) and GPT-4o (OpenAI) to generate responses. This is the only way NUR can be intelligent about your life. No raw health data is stored on our servers. Anthropic and OpenAI have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Your Rights (GDPR)

You are in full control of your data. You can export all your data from Settings → Data & Privacy Controls. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately on your device and within 30 days on any server-side records. As an EU-based service, we comply fully with GDPR.

Data Retention

All data is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. NUR Labs does not maintain user databases. Push notification tokens are stored temporarily for notification delivery and are deleted when you delete your account.

Children

NUR is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
